— Analysis Instruments

Vacuum purity that doesn't compromise your data

Mass spectrometers, leak detectors, and electron microscopes all depend on one thing above all: a vacuum environment free of hydrocarbon contamination. A single trace of backing-pump oil can register as background noise, distort a spectrum, or silently degrade a detector over months of use.

— Application Scenarios

Where scroll vacuum technology fits into analytical work

Dry scroll pumps back the instruments where contamination isn’t just undesirable, it’s disqualifying for the result.

01

Mass Spectrometry

Backing the foreline of GC-MS and LC-MS systems, where any hydrocarbon signal shows up directly in the spectrum baseline.

02

Helium Leak Detection

Fast, clean roughing for leak detection systems that need to reach test vacuum quickly without introducing false signals.

03

Electron Microscopy

Low-vibration backing for SEM/TEM chambers, where mechanical noise from the pump can directly degrade image resolution.

— WHY IT MATTERS

Clean vacuum. Precise results.

Analytical instruments demand vacuum solutions that are free of oil, particles and vibration. Our scroll technology ensures a contamination-free environment for accurate, repeatable analysis.

Advanced vacuum technology is crucial to maintaining the contamination-free environments required for analytical work.

Analytical applications leave no room for compromise. Even the tiniest contaminants or vibrations can affect measurement accuracy and instrument performance.

With nearly 20+ years of expertise, GEOWELL delivers reliable, oil-free vacuum solutions trusted by leading instrument manufacturers and laboratories worldwide.

— FAQ

Common questions before you order

1. What's the difference between the GWSP and GWSPB series?

Both use the same dry, hermetic scroll mechanism. GWSP is a standalone pump for single-tool setups without networked controls. GWSPB adds onboard remote monitoring and system integration, built for fleets or processes where you need visibility into pump health and performance.

Tip seals are the only wear component in the pump. They're field-replaceable and typically swapped in under 30 minutes with no special tools required no need to send the pump back to the factory.

Yes. The GWSP150 in particular is built for production-line duty cycles and is suited to backing turbomolecular pumps. Talk to our sales team with your system specs for a recommendation.

Yes. Being 100% oil-free with no hydrocarbon contamination in the vacuum path, they're used across semiconductor fabrication, flat panel display production, and other ultra-clean environments.

Yes, GeoWell offers full OEM capability, with configurations tailored to integrate with your proprietary systems and branding.
